Governor Deal & Commissioner Black Kick Off National Agriculture Week

The Georgia Cotton Commission participated in the Kick-off event for National Agriculture week, in Atlanta, on March 13, 2012.  The Commission exhibited and handed-out brownies and blondies, made using cottonseed oil, to the attendees.  In attendance from the Commission were Chairman Louie Perry, Board Member Wavell Robinson, Executive Director Richey Seaton and Communications Program Manager Karen Nikitopoulos.

Gov. Nathan Deal and Commissioner Gary Black kicked off National Agriculture Week by announcing the winners of the Governor’s Environmental Stewardship Award for Agriculture and the Flavor of Georgia contests.
